This guide shows you how to organize your subscriptions in PalmsTrack Subscription Tracker using tags, sorting, search, and filters. You’ll learn how to add or remove tags, designate a primary tag by dragging, filter by category, sort by renewal date, search by name, and hide free plugins.
How to Use Tags & Search Filters (Subscription Tracker)
Adding & Editing Tags
- Go to Subscription Tracker → My Subscriptions.
- Click the + Add Tag button in the subscription’s row.
- Type a tag name and press Enter. You can assign up to three tags per subscription.
- To change a tag, click the ✕ (remove) icon next to it, then add the new tag.
Setting a Primary Tag
- Click and drag a tag pill to the leftmost position to make it the primary tag.
- The primary tag appears first and is used for default grouping and reporting.
Filtering by Category Tag
- Use the Category dropdown above the table.
- Select a tag to filter the list to that category only.
Sorting by Renewal Date
- Click the Sort by Date dropdown.
- Select Ascending (soonest first) or Descending (farthest first).
Searching by Subscription Name
- Type a keyword into the Search field above the table and press Enter.
- The table will update to show matching subscriptions.
Hiding Free Plugins
- Toggle the Hide Free Plugins switch at the top‑right of the subscriptions table.
- Only paid subscriptions will remain visible.
Tips & Best Practices
- Keep tag names short and consistent for easy filtering.
- Use the primary tag for the most important category when reporting.
- Combine filters and search terms to pinpoint subscriptions quickly.
- Sort by renewal date regularly to stay ahead of upcoming charges.
- Remove unused tags periodically to reduce clutter.
