This guide explains how to configure the core Subscription Tracker settings: selecting your preferred currency for cost tracking and adjusting the alert window that determines how far ahead renewal notifications appear in your alerts and/or email digest. By configuring your preferred currency and alert window, you ensure accurate cost reporting and timely renewal reminders tailored to your workflow.

Overview

From within the PalmsTrack Subscription Tracker settings, you can customize:

  • Currency: Choose which currency is used to display subscription costs throughout the dashboard and reports.
  • Alert Window (Alert Days): Set how many days ahead you want renewal reminders to include in your dashboard alert notices or in your scheduled digest email (Subscription Tracker Pro).

Subscription Tracker Settings

Setting Your Currency

  1. Navigate to Subscription Tracker → Settings → General Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Open the Currency dropdown menu.
  3. Select the currency you’d like to use for all cost fields (e.g., USD, EUR, JPY).
  4. Click Save General Settings to apply your selection.

Configuring the Alert Window

  1. Within the same General Settings panel, locate the Alert Days field under “Alerts.”
  2. Enter the number of days ahead you want to be alerted of your renewals (e.g., “7” for one week).
  3. Click Save Alerts Settings to confirm your changes.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Choose the currency that matches your business’s primary billing to avoid conversion confusion.
  • Set the alert window far enough ahead to give you time to review and cancel unwanted renewals.
  • Adjust Alert Days seasonally (e.g., increase before year-end budgeting) to capture all upcoming renewals.
  • Verify settings after any plugin update to ensure your preferences persist.
